Want an easy thank you card that you can make on short notice? This versatile card can be used for women, men, and kids depending on the paper and colors that you choose.

First step is of course to choose paper and color. My paper is Not Quite Navy card stock from Stampin' Up! Their card stock is thicker and better quality than almost anything else I have used and the colors are many. This is a half-card folded in half again and the fold is smoothed out with a bone folder.
The designer paper is from Michaels and cut to 5 1/4 x 4 to leave a small border of Not Quite Navy peeking out. If you use a 12 x 12 paper to start with you can get three of that size out of the sheet.

Simply affix the paper to the card with your choice of adhesive. Tombow works well or double-sided tape can be used too.
I tried several different typefaces and colors on my computer to work with different papers and printed them out on creamy cardstock. I prefer to use a knife and ruler to cut the sentiment but any cutter will work.

Use a corner cutter to round the edges. I used a punch from Stampin' Up! If you look at the left top corner you will see the embellishment that I used on the card. They are simply old buttons I had laying around tied with navy blue cord.
After the sentiment is attached to the card, the buttons are affixed with glue dots. See below:

Below is the finished version and an alternate version to show how this simple card can be used for many different people or occasions for thanks.
Have a great time putting these together!
