There is still time to be Irish!

I am surrounded by Irish. From background to football fan, friends and family (and we) are Irish. I love to celebrate St. Patrick's Day so this year I decided to put my new skills to the test and created shamrocks for everyone in my sons class, including his teacher, and I made a couple of extras for me and a good friend. It was surprisingly easy using this pattern and I cranked out 15 or so in no time. I wanted to fill the little goodie bags with chocolate gold coins but, as so often happens with grand plans in my small city, I couldn't find what I needed on short notice. I instead got chocolate wrapped in gold and silver and used that as my stand-in. A simple little tag with a shamrock and a sentiment and I was ready to go. Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!
